PJ3 - First Concept

For my concept i have come up with an idea to give life to something that is not alive. I have a bunch of small wooden animal different shapes and sizes, such as elephants, birds, horses. They are a reclipca of a real life animal but just way smaller and not alive. I want to use light drawing and shadow to create movement and colours to make them appear more real. Using light is an effective way to create a nature like background e.g sunset as a setting for the animals to be in. Having the bright halos around them will make them appear as if they are walking and giving of some kind of energy (life). The fact that the animals are small will give of an obvious clue that even though they are not real they do hold an aspect or realness to them. This is one of my inspirations:

Project 3 - Light

Light or visible light is electromagnetic radiation that is visible to the human eye, and is responsible for the sense of sight. Light comes in many forms:
  • natural light such as the sun and the moon
  • flames/fire from a lighter matches, also causing heat
  • Artificial, through electricity such as bulbs and LEDs
In terms of photography light is a very important aspect. It is used to display what you are tyring to photograph in many different ways such as showing emotion, highlighting a particular area, creating shadows or making light drawings.
