PJ3 - Shoot 4 - Favourites

Even though this game is newer that the others (2010) the style of game still matches the older games where the background is stationary and the fruit over across the screen. I chose this particular image because it has the right amount of game play going on. There is some subtle wording/scoring and a good mix of action e.g. the fruit splats and swiping marks left when you cut the fruit. I think this photo will show a clear comparison between old and new games but how they have stayed the same.

I like this image for the same reasons as the other ones I took because of the effects pacman and the ghosts make.  This image had a longer exposure so there are more trails and colours produced.

I worked on getting the patterned I wanted from the ball which was even and the right amount. I also wanted only still numbers that don't change so they are not distracting.

This photo came out perfect! I most likely will chose this over the background with the space environent. This is because the asteroids left a really beautiful trail behind the. The photo looks crystal clear and high quality. There is enough going on so it looks better with the plain black background

This one is similar to the last as it has the same qualities. The movement is blurred yet there is a still shots of the characters. I think the white spot in the center is a distraction so it would be better if it was softer.

I composed this image so it had little blocks and the right amount of falling block. I chose a slow setting so that the camera could pick up the colours and it turned out how i expect which was good. I think the background is to bright and doesn't appear very natural so i will think about changing it to a darker colour.

I really like the image because of the game. Dark castle is a classic that brings back memory's of my childhood however it didn't photograph as well as expected. There is always movement within the levels but the screen was to bright to it let to much light into the lense with a long exposure meaning the movement didn't show up. There is some subtle movement from the man with the whip and the black and white is effective however i don't think it will read well with the rest of the set.
